Warehouse Technician

As a Warehouse Technician at LFA Machines you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, training, fault finding, installation and certain aspects of sales and support for our products. You will have a real passion for machinery, engineering, and moving parts. LFA Technicians will also be responsible for producing and packing the small range of excipients that LFA sells. You will also have to have an understanding of food safety. This training can be done in-house. Wearing proper PPE is required when working around powders that could be hazardous.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assisting in the mixing and packing of excipients to be sent out to customers.
- The quality control of goods going out of our warehouses including machines.
- Working with customer support to overcome issues / technical difficulties that customers may be having.
- Performing manually taxing tasks, including but not limited to, lifting heavy equipment, and maintaining strenuous positions.
- Connecting power cables and equipment to plugs and being able to handle basic wiring.
- Inspecting equipment for heavy wear and tear and/or defects.
- Conducting goods in procedures. Unloading containers, receiving ground packages, sorting them and checking them into stock.
- Organizing outgoing goods, picking, packing and preparing them for dispatch.
- Being familiar with our stock management system. Being able to check things in and out.
- Assisting with annual stock counts.
- Upholding all Food Safety standards by taking all trainings and holding to the processes that support ISO 22000:2018 in their work day.
Job Requirements:
- Ability to identify shades of red, pink, blue, and green when mixing excipients.
- Take responsibility, have great attention to safety procedures and legal regulations.
- A passion or knowledge of mechanics, electrics, and problem-solving.
- Food Safety Level 2 or higher (Desirable). This can be done in-house with LFA Machines.
- Familiarity with inventory management and logistics software systems (Desirable)
- Successful completion of an apprenticeship program (Desirable). This can be completed in-house with LFA Machines.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm
Pay: $18-24/hr Based on education, experience, and skills.
