General Manager - Manufacturing

The General Manager at CCS Index Stokes is responsible for driving the organization towards its strategic goals while maintaining operational excellence and fostering a productive work environment. You will oversee the day-to-day operations, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget, and maintaining the overall quality and efficiency of our industrial machinery.
The General Manager will report directly to the Chief Operations Officer (COO).
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensuring the on-time delivery of goods for Stokes (Tablet Presses) and Index (Capsule Fillers) at a cost that is below the quoted price while maintaining or exceeding quality expectations.
- Maintain production, purchasing, scheduling, and overall management of the CCS brands.
- Drive business growth, profitability, and operational efficiency.
- Achieve cost reduction year over year.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency and quality.
- Set and monitor performance goals and KPIs for the company.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
- Reporting any quality or functional issues in any Operio’ products to the relevant managers and inform team members when needed.
- Coordinating and collaborating with sales, purchasing, customer service, and other internal and external customers.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Monitor financial performance, including revenue, expenses, and profitability ensuring cost-effective operations
- Implement a World Class Engineering Center of Excellence.
- Fostering a motivated, high-performing team that is capable of achieving organizational goals.
- Effectively manage and oversee team member performance to ensure accountability.
- Foster a positive and productive company culture.
Job Requirements:
- 5-10+ years of experience as a production leader or operations manager.
- Proven track record of successful project management and operational leadership.
- Excellent management and leadership skills and ability to train others proven in the field of machine production.
- Previous experience in a fast-paced production environment.
- Knowledgeable in mechanics and machinery operation.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Customer service-oriented solution provider.
- Hands-on team player.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Proactive and with high initiative; able to solve problems efficiently including technical ones.
- Great verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Pay: $90,000 - $110,000 based on education, experience, and skills.
