We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Clerk at Scheu & Kniss. In this role, you will be responsible for shipping and receiving all company parts, purchased material, in-process material, and finished products, as well as troubleshooting problems with shipments as they arise.
Job Responsibilities:
- Receiving incoming products and materials.
- Package and restock inventory.
- Completion of incoming inspection testing, confirmation of certificate of conformance, and reconciliation of receiving / purchase documentation.
- Notification of delivery of incoming product to the end-user.
- Ensures each receipt has documentation (Packing Slip etc.) to support computer (ERP) system entries.
- Requires completion of daily receiving entries in the computer system.
- Distributes receivers to the purchasing office for filing. Requires preparation of paperwork, management of packaging materials inventories, packaging of product to be shipped, and arrangement of transportation services.
- Ensures continuous improvement and complete adherence to quality standards.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma.
- At least 1 year of related experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of international shipping regulations.
- Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics is a plus.
- Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment to ensure delivery requirements.
- Forklift experience preferred.
- Clear communication (oral and written) skills.
- Ability to keep accurate records.
- Ability to follow documented procedures and standards.
- Excellent time-management skills with the ability to work independently with little supervision.
Pay: $19-22/hr based on education, experience, and skills.
